Biggest challenge: Waking up below freezing. It’s difficult to pack up and get going, but I warm up quickly once I’m walking.

  1. Glad to see that you are moving right along! Enjoy the trail! Chris and I went out yesterday in Shenandoah. He did a 17+ mile loop starting from Thompson Hollow, while did a 7+ loop up pass Overall Falls and then down the other side along Beecher Ridge. Tough day for both of us. It was over 95 degrees with no breeze. Both of us had dehydration issues on our respective hikes. Would have enjoyed some of your cold! LOL! Be careful and be safe out there! Hardcharger
