Highlight: A PBR from trail angels Mark and Michelle, serving up goodies from Guffy Campground. (Honorable mention: A food bag loaded with so many yummy snacks that it’s like an all-you-can-eat buffet every time I open it.)
Biggest challenge: 5,000-foot climb out of Cajon Pass. But I was thankful to do it first thing in the morning, when it’s coolest.
